Remapper
Friday, 27th March 2020 ◆ Where is unkept lion coat? (6) ◆ Comments (3) GeographyHow well do you know the United Kingdom? In my case, it turns out the answer is not very well at all...
This week's post is another mini-game. In Remapper, you must locate 10 places in the UK. For each place you must drag one of the 10 circles onto the map. If the place is inside the circle, you get a point. Simple!
Play on the map below! If the embedded version below doesn't quite work, you can also play here.
I like the idea of having to weigh up your certainty for each guess, and manage when is the right time to use the circles of different sizes. If you are unsure, will you waste a big circle, or cut your losses and chuck away a small circle?
I had initially planned this game to take place on a number line, which questions like "What is the population of Bhutan?", but I think circles lend themselves much more neatly to a 2d game. Also, this version has a lot more replayability as adding many locations to the list is much easier than adding new general knowledge questions.
Good luck!
If you like this game, you might like my other silly geography game: I can draw flags, a game about drawing the world's flags.

Great game!
Great stuff, it's very difficult though! I can't get past 4/10 :)
Good game this week!
